How it works
What is a round robin bet?
A round robin creates a set of smaller parlays from a group of selections. For example, a three-team round robin by 2s makes three two-leg parlays. Each combination is a separate wager, so a round robin can return money when one selection loses if another combination wins.
The total ticket cost is the stake per combination multiplied by the number of combinations. Each winning combination pays according to its own parlay odds.
Calculate round robin combinations
For n selections used k at a time, the number of combinations is n choose k: n! ÷ (k! × (n − k)!). Enter each leg’s odds and the desired combination size to see the count, total stake, and payout if every selected leg wins.
With four picks by 2s, there are six parlays. At $5 per combination, the total cost is $30. The maximum payout depends on all six leg pairs and their prices.
Round robin risk and settlement
A round robin still risks losing every combination when too few picks win. Pushes, voids, and reduced odds change combination settlements under sportsbook rules. This calculator shows the all-picks-win payout and cost; it does not simulate partial results or special parlay rules.
Frequently asked questions
How many bets are in a round robin?
It depends on the number of selections and the number of legs in each combination. Use the combinations formula n choose k.
How is round robin cost calculated?
Multiply the number of parlay combinations by the stake per combination. Each combination is a separate wager.
Can a round robin win if one pick loses?
Some combinations can still win if they do not include the losing pick. The result depends on which selections win and the round robin structure.
