Rate limits & caching
Limits keep the shared sources healthy. Most routes are cached, so polling faster than the cache does not return newer data.
Request limit
Each IP address can make 240 requests per minute across /api/*. Over the limit, you get 429 with Retry-After: 60.

Forcing a refresh
Add refresh=1 to research routes to skip the cache. Forced refreshes are limited to one per route per minute; other requests in that window get the cached copy.
